Watch as the 2012 – southwest of – Salina, Kansas EF-4 Tornado sucks up cows and blows a farm apart in the video below.

The video was captured David R Mabe and posted a day after the Tornado struck – 14th April 2012. Mabe posted the video on his official YouTube account.

… This particular Tornado was one of a handful that struck central Kansas on the 14th April 2012 – find out more below.

Multiple supercell thunderstorms affected central Kansas on the 14th April 2012. The first Tornado tracked across Russell County around 1:30pm producing a handful of brief Tornado touchdowns.

At around 5:30pm, the most intense supercell moved into Rice County. This eventually produced a long track Tornado as it moved off to the northeast. This EF-4 Tornado caused significant Tornado in Kanopolis Lake.

The Tornado then briefly lifted before touching down once again northeast of Salina producing EF-1 damage. The Tornado that took place later that night mainly affected locations southwest of Lyons – producing EF-1 damage.
