Reports suggest Tornado touched down in Marbleton, Wyoming

A number of reports have emerged suggesting a Tornado touched down in Marbleton, Wyoming around midday today.

Reports differ on the Tornadoes size, however damage has been reported. Authorities are asking the public to stay well clear of the area.

Sublette County Sheriff’s Office PIO Administrative Sgt. Travis Bingham has confirmed the event as a Tornado.

The reported damage includes: vehicles upended and mobile homes with structural damage. Power is currently out in most of Marbleton.

The National Weather Service has yet to confirm whether it was a Tornado or not.
